A long time former winemaker at Tyrrell’s, Andrew Thomas has long been regarded as one of the Hunter Valley’s leading winemakers. With a focus on the region’s hero varietals; Semillon and Shiraz, Thomas regularly delivers highly acclaimed benchmark examples. The Thomas ‘Two Of A Kind’ wines are a tribute to the multi regional blends that created some of Australia’s best wines in the 50’s and 60’s. 

Produced from a blend of Hunter Valley (52%) and McLaren Vale (48%) Shiraz, the 2021 Thomas Two Of A Kind Shiraz is another super impressive release. Each component plays its part; the Hunter brings its bright blue fruit and spice to the nose, while McLaren Vale presents its darker fruit, fleshy texture and deliciously chewy tannin structure on the palate.  Expect ripe berry fruits and warm baking spices flowing through a plush mouthfeel with supple tannins and cleansing acidity.
