All Lightfoot & Sons’ Myrtle Point wines are made solely from grapes grown at the Lightfoot family’s Myrtle Point vineyard in Victoria’s East Gippsland; a cool, semi-maritime climate regions that has proven particularly ideal for making high quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Made in a fresh, modern style, the 2021 Lightfoot & Sons Myrtle Point Chardonnay offers lively grapefruit and stone fruit characters on the palate that are complemented by some quality French oak influence. Barrel fermentation and lees contact adds to the complexity and texture while the natural acidity gives the wine finesse and a lingering finish.
