This is the first brand new colour photographic film that Orwo has launched in decades, still proudly produced in Bitterfeld-Wolfen on the original film manufacturing site founded in 1910.
At the core of Orwo Wolfen NC500 lies a unique chemical formula based on the wonderful and legendary Agfa stock last used in the Oscar winning film ‘Out of Africa’
The NC500 35mm film from Orwo Wolfen replicates the renowned Agfa cinema stock’s distinctive characteristics – verdant hues, desaturated shadows, and distinct grains.
With ORWO WOLFEN NC500, Orwo are creating an alternative film versus what’s available in the market – something with different characteristics and a different palette.
